Caldas da Rainha, bus station, July 2020. In the spirit of the previous post, here they are, the images of our restored Last Supper. Originally realised in the framework of OVNI – Visual Objects from Nepal and India. The context is certainly quite different than of last January. And truly both more assertive and aware. The work is by Mariana Cordeiro and Rita Conde, extraordinary students who believe in themselves in a way that restores a teacher’s belief in this generation. Souls mate, and these gods are the living proof that a repairing epiphenomenon may as well become the icon of intimate gestures for the urban common(s).

Originalmente realizado no âmbito do OVNI – Objectos Visuais do Nepal e da Índia. O contexto é bem diferente do do passado mês de Janeiro. E francamente mais assertivo e consciente. O trabalho é de Mariana Cordeiro e Rita Conde, estudantes extraordinárias que acreditam em si próprias de uma maneira que restaura a fé de um professor nesta geração. As almas encontram-se e estes deuses são a prova viva de que um epifenómeno restaurador pode bem ser o ícone de gestos íntimos pelo comum urbano.
